After all these months, all this time, so much has happened. The talks, the phone calls, the laughs, and the feelings. If I were to look back on them, I would never have believed that, that person was once me. I wouldn't recognize that girl because she's so different from me. But I guess changing and moving on is growing up, I'm growing up and finding out what kind of person I want to be for the rest of my life. And maybe in the future, there are more changes to come, but as for right now, this is who I'm proud to be.

I don't like living without you. Everything feels so different and wrong. I feel very lonely when you're gone. I close my eyes trying hard to forgetbut that gets me nowhere, you're always there in the back of my mind. There is always at least one thing a day that reminds me of you. Yourpresence still lingers near. You're not the person you made me believe you were, you're a lot worse and I hate that. But I can't stand that I fell for you, and I fell hard. Now I'm stuck loving you and I can't do a thing about it. Lay my head to sleep, hope you won't be in my dreams. I'll never let you go, you'll always be with me, just so you know.

Are you okay? - why do people say it? Does ‘I’m fine’ honestly satisfy you? If so, you don’t mean what you’re asking. I mean, come on, look in my eyes - I’m not okay. You know I’m not okay. And you asking if I’m okay is just reminding me how badly I’m not. I want someone to reach out a little farther than just ‘are you okay?. Instead of a question, make it a statement. You’re okay. It’s gonna be okay. It would mean so much me more.
We all need to look a little deeper. Nobody is ever okay.

Let's become old ladies together. We'll stay up late looking at old pictures telling "remember when" stories, and laughing till our sides ache. Let's become eccentric together- the kind of old ladies who take long walks,wear silly hats, & get away with acting outrageous in public places. And if anybody asks how long we've been friends we'll say, "Oh forever;; since before you were born!" Let's become old ladies together because a friendship that's as special as ours can only grow better through the years.

A soul mate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we're pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we're safe in our own paradise. Our soul mate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we're two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we've found the right person. Our soul mate is the one who makes life come tolife.
